SEIU 775 is a labor union representing more than 45,000 long-term care workers providing quality home care, nursing home care, and residential services in Washington State, Montana, and Alaska.

Playfish Media partnered with SEIU 775 to create an inspiring video showcasing the journey of Alaska’s caregivers as they joined the union in 2023. From pre-production to post-production, we worked closely with SEIU 775 to develop a narrative that captured the motivations behind the caregivers’ decision to unionize and the sense of pride and accomplishment they felt in making that dream a reality. During production, we filmed caregivers sharing their personal stories and experiences, highlighting the importance of unionizing for better working conditions and improved care for those they serve. In post-production, we crafted a compelling video that not only tells their story but also emphasizes SEIU 775’s commitment to supporting long-term care workers across Washington State, Montana, and Alaska. The final video reflects the joy and empowerment caregivers feel in being part of a union that advocates for their rights and the well-being of those they care for.
