We partnered with the Port of Seattle to produce a documentary that captures a major leap forward in maritime sustainability: The launch of shore power at Pier 66.

This video brings viewers behind the scenes of a bold infrastructure project that’s helping redefine what it means to be a green port. Through cinematic storytelling and in-depth interviews, the documentary explores the Port’s ambitious goal of decarbonizing cruise operations.

Featuring voices from Seattle City Light, Watts Marine, and other key partners, the film highlights the innovation, collaboration, and environmental vision driving the project forward. More than a technical achievement, shore power allows cruise ships to plug into the electrical grid instead of running diesel engines at berth, reducing emissions and protecting the health of the Puget Sound and surrounding communities.
